Steve has been playing his bass in bands since the late 80s. He was in several bands that mainly played at the early Gilman Street Project. Think Twice was one of these bands. During the 90s he played bass in several bands that did not play many shows, but made great music, such as Prong Bonnet.

In 2001-2002 Steve played bass in Forcing Bloom, a fairly popular metal band that played around 200 shows in a year.

For the last year he has been collaborating with Chris from Forcing Bloom, Nicole and Veronica from Honeyshot, and Brian (no one seems to really know where he came from). Steve is also beginning to play bass in a newly formed surf band.
